Fuchen provides thermostatic air vents designed for the positive venting of air and other non-condensable gases from steam in chamber-type heat-transfer equipment. These vents are ideal for applications such as jacketed kettles, retorts, vulcanizers, jacketed sterilizers, and other enclosed systems where air may collect in remote areas of the steam chamber, leading to reduced heat transfer efficiency.
The vents operate on a balanced pressure principle, responding precisely to the pressure-temperature relationship of steam. They automatically release air at a temperature just below that of steam, across the entire operating pressure range, ensuring continuous and efficient removal of air to maintain optimal heat transfer performance.
