Fuchen TAVB integrates a thermostatic air vent and a vacuum breaker in a single, compact unit, making it the ideal solution for steam-filled vessels with modulating control systems. During normal operation, the TAVB automatically expels air and non-condensable gases from key process equipment—such as shell-and-tube heat exchangers, jacketed kettles, and steam coils—helping to maintain heat transfer efficiency and system stability.
When steam control valves modulate to reduce pressure, a vacuum can form inside the vessel. The TAVB instantly activates to break this vacuum, preventing possible equipment damage, process interruptions, and energy losses. This reliable, dual-action performance ensures smoother operation, longer equipment life, and enhanced safety in a wide range of industrial steam applications.
