SH-1500 steam trap DATA

SH Series Superheat Steam Traps use thermostatic bimetallic elements that respond to temperature changes. At startup, the valve opens fully to discharge cold condensate and non-condensable gases. Once steam temperature is reached, the heated elements pull the valve stem closed. The valve stays shut until the elements cool enough to reopen, allowing condensate and gases to vent before closing again.

The SH Series adjusts automatically to changing conditions—hot elements counteract pressure increases. The SH-1500 model features titanium valves and seats for exceptional durability in harsh superheated steam environments.
