Description
The bimetallic steam trap's thermal element is a bimetallic disc die-casted from two metals with different expansion rates using a special process. When heated, the two layers of metal expand, causing them to bend due to the different expansion rates. This characteristic is exploited to create a thermal element that acts as a switch in the steam trap.
1.The discharge temperature can be adjusted online, allowing for flexible installation positions.
2.lt utilizes high-temperature condensate to form a water seal effectively reducing steam leakage.
3.lt offers sensitive operation, resists water hammer, and is silent.
4.lt has a simple structure and is easy to maintain.
5.lt is suitable for steam mains, steam distributors, steam tracing lines, radiators, low-temperature heating tanks, and jacketed kettles.
6.lt is suitable for high-temperature steam lines and distributors.
Installation Precautions
1.Proper installation and maintenance of this valve are the only guarantee of safe and proper operation.
2.Verify that the valve body material, maximum pressure, and maximum temperature meet the operating requirements.
3.Before installation, be sure to clean the piping and remove any debris.
4.The valve should be installed at the lowest point in the pipeline, with the flow direction consistent with the direction marked on the valve body.
5.After ensuring safe system operation, slowly open the valve in front of the steam trap to allow it to gradually warm to normal.
6.Perform regular maintenance to ensure the proper function ofthe steam trap.
