To meet the demands of the most severe steam service conditions, we developed an inverted bucket steam trap featuring a specially designed accumulation chamber. This chamber gathers enough condensate to guarantee complete discharge cycles every time. Inside the chamber, a buoyant cup moves vertically along the steam inlet tube, sealing it off as the condensate level rises.

While the chamber collects condensate, steam continues to flow beneath the inverted bucket, ensuring the discharge valve remains fully closed until condensate fills the trap body and causes the bucket to descend. The trap operates in an on/off manner—there is no throttling or dripping—delivering sharp, efficient cycling. In addition, it retains all the proven advantages of traditional inverted bucket steam traps, including durability, reliability, and resistance to water hammer.
